PETERS, Fritz. Blind Flight

£60.00

PETERS, Fritz. Blind Flight. London: Gollancz. 1966. 8vo. Red cloth with gilt lettering to the spine, in the very fragile Gollancz yellow dust jacket. First edition. A scarce example of Fritz Peters’ third novel, about a woman recently released from a mental hospital as she falls back into her forced, patriarchal world while coping with mental anguish and depression. Seemingly the scarcest of Peters’ novels, he also wrote two highly-acclaimed volumes on Gurdjieff.

A near fine volume, the cloth clean, the binding tight with a gentle lean. Internally clean throughout. The dust jacket unclipped (21/-) and complete, a few short nicks to the corners and at the spine head and tail, the spine panel a trifle toned but an otherwise bright copy.
