BAYLEY, Victor. North West Mail

£75.00

North West Mail, Victor Bayley. London: Robert Hale. 8vo. Undated, but circa 1935. First and only edition. Red cloth with black lettering to the spine, in the dust jacket. Bayley’s seventh novel, the rear panel noting Bayley’s other novel, House of Hatred (1935) coming shortly. A very good book with the corners and cloth a little rubbed and bumped, but the binding tight and the contents usually clean and bright despite paper quality. The scarce dust jacket very good, unclipped with some loss to the front panel towards top, with a few other short tears, nicks, and rubbing, with some rather workmanlike repairs to the verso. Nevertheless a very scarce title, even more so in the jacket.
