NABOKOV, Vladimir. Poems

£125.00
sold out

NABOKOV, Vladimir. Poems. London: Weidenfeld & Nicolson. 1961. 8vo. First British edition. Publisher's textured blue boards with gilt lettering to sine, in the dust jacket with central motif by Robin Jacques, who provides several head- and tail-pieces throughout. A fine copy, the spine a little toned, but the boards firm and bright, the binding tight and square, the contents fine. The dust jacket unclipped (12s 6d net) and complete, a couple of very negligible marks, but a fine copy. Scarce.

A collection of poems written between 1942 and 1957, the majority of which originally appeared in The New Yorker.
