Publisher’s white cloth lettered in black to the spine, with illustrated endpapers, no jacket as issued, and in the publisher’s black slipcase with titles in silver gilt to one side. This copy one of one thousand numbered limited edition copies each signed by the author to the publisher’s bookplate, this number 523. A near fine copy, the book with a small handful of light marks to the white cloth, a common issue with the volume. Internally fine. The slipcase just lightly marked to title panel and opposite with very mild rubbing of the gilt. A sharp copy overall.

Together with the trade edition, Harvill simultaneously released this limited edition of 1000 copies, a special limited edition of 100 copies. Centipede Press also released a limited edition of 200 copies in 2017.
