JOHNSON, B. S. Albert Angelo (signed)

£200.00

JOHNSON, B. S. Albert Angelo. London: Panther Books. 1967. 8vo. First paperback edition following the hardcover in 1964 by Constable. This copy signed without dedication by Johnson with his name struck-through. A very good copy, the corners and tips a trifle bumped and faintly creased, the spine a little wrinkled and rolled, the contents with some even toning throughout as expected.

Johnson’s inimitable (even for him) second novel about the goings-on of a failing supply teacher as he dreams about making it as a full-time architect. Scarce signed.
