JACKSON, Shirley. We Have Always Lived in the Castle

£350.00
sold out

JACKSON, Shirley. We Have Always Lived in the Castle. London: Michael Joseph. 1963. First British edition. A striking copy of Shirley Jackson’s neurotic, mysterious sixth novel, one of her finest, and the last work to be published in her lifetime. A very good copy, the cloth gently bumped and rubbed, the textblock foxed throughout, usually light, with previous owner’s stamp and signature to the front endpaper. The excellent dust jacket by Charles Gorham unclipped, the spine lightly faded, the corners and tips gently bumped. A presentable copy overall.
