Hamilton’s third and final volume in his Gorse Trilogy, and indeed his final work published in his lifetime. The novel was dictated by Hamilton often whilst he was drunk, sadly and ironically his only form of comfort from ill health caused by his excessive drinking. Like its predecessors, it can be read standalone, and follows ever-demonic confidence man, Gorse, work all in his vicinity.
