GALLEGOS, Adrian. From Capri into Oblivion

£40.00

GALLEGOS, Adrian. From Capri into Oblivion. London: Hodder & Stoughton. 1959. 8vo. First edition. Publisher's black cloth lettered in gilt to the spine, in the excellent dust jacket depicting some of the roles played by Gallegos, a RNVR lieutenant and Chief of the Advanced Naval Section of Special Force No. 1, who was captured by the Germans in Italy. Uncommon.

A near fine copy, the cloth clean, the binding tight and just a trifle rolled. The contents fine, one singular spot to the top edge. The dust jacket unclipped, some light closed tears and nicks to the rear panel bottom corner, a couple of tiny nicks, closed tears, but a handsome copy overall.
