DUNDY, Elaine. The Old Man and Me

£50.00

DUNDY, Elaine. The Old Man and Me. London: Gollancz. 1964. 8vo. First edition. Publisher's red cloth lettered in gilt to the spine, in the classic Gollancz dust jacket. A very good copy, the cloth clean and bright, the binding tight and square. The contents generally fine, a few light marks only. The dust jacket darkened at spine, a few stains and marks to upper portion of front panel and light mark to rear upper panel, else clean. Corners and tips a trifle nicked.

The author's second novel after 'The Dud Avocado'. This one follows a young American girl in London and her relationship with the titular old man, as the pair masquerade. A murder and a social critique also feature.
